Our Global Health Faculty Fellow program brings together more than 200 Stanford faculty committed to global health from across Stanford’s seven schools, forming a robust network of researchers and clinicians. Our Fellows collaborate across disciplines and with partners around the world to solve critical challenges facing humanity.

Eligibility

Stanford faculty with a strong interest in and commitment to global health and who meet the following criteria are welcome and encouraged to apply to become a fellow:

• An interest in mentoring a student in a topic related to global health
• Able to demonstrate overseas affiliations
• Willingness to lecture or teach a course involving global health issues

Responsibilities and Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Mentor a student and/or PhD candidate when requested
• Be willing to lecture or teach a course involving global health issues
• Offer occasional guidance and referrals to CIGH in your area of expertise
• Volunteer for Stanford Global Health Committees when requested, e.g. Global Health MD Student Admissions Committee
• Update CIGH annually on your global health activities
• Maintain a Community Academic Profile (CAP) that mentions your CIGH Faculty Fellow status

• Formal affiliation with the Center for Innovation in Global Health
• Access to a network of stellar students interested in global health projects and/or seeking opportunities that may contribute to faculty global health efforts
• Preference in CIGH global health seed grant selection
• Option to include Stanford Global Health Faculty Fellow title on CV, publications, proposals, and professional title
  Access to CIGH core faculty for guided review of grant proposals and project development
