We are pleased to invite you to the Global Health Opportunities Fair on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 5–7 PM at Stanford Medical School (Alway M112). This is an exciting opportunity for students and trainees to connect with researchers and professionals in the field of global health, including with the multi-sector network of the Alliance for Innovation in Global Health.

Register here (tickets are limited): https://ghfair.eventbrite.com/

Last year’s fair featured organizations such as Stanford Anesthesia, UCSF’s Institute for Global Health Sciences, and the Worldwide Initiative for Device Equity (WIDE), as well as 15+ research opportunities. Don’t miss out on this chance to expand your network, connect with potential internship or volunteer opportunities, and collaborate with like-minded individuals passionate about improving global health outcomes!

Attention, Global Health Organizations and Researchers: Interested in presenting an opportunity?

You are invited to host a table to showcase your research and needs, and directly engage and connect with students, at no cost. Even if you are unable to attend the fair, you can still pitch an opportunity. Please sign up here: tinyurl.com/GHOP26 by October 30th, 2026.

What’s in it for you?

Hard-working, motivated graduate and undergraduate students from Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and UCSF, are looking to gain experience in global health by volunteering, supporting your research agenda, and/or participating in an internship. Students can support your organization’s goals and capacity at no cost to you.

This event will bring together students, faculty, and professionals passionate about global health, providing organizations the opportunity to:

  • Recruit talented and motivated students to support your work (for paid and unpaid opportunities)
  • Showcase your mission and impact
  • Build connections across academia, NGOs, and industry

The process:

  1. Identify a project or role that needs dedicated support. (e.g., analyzing data to generate an annual report, conducting a publishable study measuring your organization’s impact, compiling a list of federal and state policies that could impact your portfolio, running a cost-effectiveness analysis of your programs)
  2. Complete this form to indicate your interest in attending the Opportunities Fair and/or highlighting where you need support: https://tinyurl.com/GHOP26
  3. Join us at the Global Health Opportunities Fair on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 (5–7 PM, Stanford Medical School Alway M112) and set up a table to connect with students. If you are unable to attend in person, complete the form to have your opportunities shared with attendees. We will also collect student resumes to share with organizations that complete the form.

The Global Health Opportunities Fair, hosted in collaboration with the Alliance for Innovation in Global Health, will convene students passionate about global health and offer organizations the chance to recruit talented students, showcase their mission and impact, and build connections across academia, NGOs, and industry. While paid internships and full-time roles are welcome, organizations can also use this opportunity to highlight unpaid internships, research or publication projects, case-studies, Op-Eds, volunteer roles, and other ways for students to gain experience and support your work.

We hope that you can join us on November 11th! Please reach out to eennis@stanford.edu with any questions.
