On Behalf of the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, we are cordially inviting you to join us in hosting Dr. Carolina Haylock Loor, for a special Global Health Equity and Engagement Grand Rounds – “Talking Global Leadership”, February 9th at 5:30pm.
Dr. Haylock-Loor is president-elect of the World Federation of Societies of Anesthesiologists (WFSA). Through its vision of safe anaesthesia for all and its mission of empowering anaesthesiologists worldwide to improve patient care, WFSA embodies the profession’s contribution to the global health movement.
Carolina is a physician-leader whose work spans clinical practice, teaching, and international collaboration. In this talk, she’ll explore what global leadership looks like in real life — the challenges, the missteps, the growth, and the opportunities. She’ll reflect on how global experiences shape perspective and how anesthesiologists can contribute to health systems strengthening, equity, and innovation both at home and abroad.
