Join us to screen Sop Kok Unplugged, an upcoming short documentary by Kaley Clements, Assistant Professor of Media and Arts, Duke Kunshan University. This work traces local impacts of upstream rare earth mining on Sop Kok, a community along the Kok River tributary of the Mekong River in Thailand (full synopsis below). Following the film, we will host Q&A and conversation between Kaley Clements and ESS’s own E’jaaz Mason, specialist in community-engaged multimedia environmental storytelling.
