The Center for Human and Planetary Health’s Electrification for Health program is hiring!!! A great interdisciplinary opportunity for a postdoctoral fellow to work across three Stanford Schools: The Medical School (Luby Lab), Doerr School of Sustainability (Jackson Lab) & the School of Engineering (Boies Lab). Study the tiniest particles to help us make a big impact: evidence of the health harms of ultrafine particulate matter (UFPM) is growing. This position will study the epidemiology of UFPM, particularly from home appliances, building upon Stanford medical expertise and unique capabilities to quantify UFPM and other pollutants in hundreds of homes and buildings globally. This is a great opportunity to contribute to policy-oriented research that will pave the way for more technical measurements, epidemiologic evidence & dose-response studies. The team is looking for someone with a recently completed PhD or other doctoral degree in a discipline related to indoor air quality. Training in epidemiology, exposure modeling, and/or environmental health and toxicology preferred. More information here, apply by April 15, 2026.
