Stanford resident, Dr. Metabel Markwei, is charting a long-dreamed path of practicing in both the U.S. and her childhood country, Ghana, while transforming her family ‘s clinic in Ghana into a state-of-the-art research center. Through a residency in Ghana supported by CIGH, she learned how to incorporate lessons learned from both the US and Ghana into her medical practice.
