Extreme heat threatens the health of vulnerable populations such as children, laborers, and the elderly. We spoke with Stanford pediatrician and Global Health Faculty Fellow Lisa Patel, emergency medicine doctor Matt Strehlow, and professor of Earth system science Gabrielle Wong-Parodi about how we can best adapt and build resilience – particularly for those populations and communities that are most vulnerable.
