Dr. Maia Nofal, MD, will spend two years doing research in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on surgical infection prevention and control through the Global Engagement Program at Stanford Surgery. She will be working as part of the NIH Fogarty-funded Global Health Equity Scholars (GHES) program managed by CIGH.
