Dr. Paul Farmer has in many ways forged the public image of global health. As the founder of the revolutionary organization Partners in Health, he has spent his career on the front lines of the world’s greatest health crises, from tuberculosis in Peru to Ebola in Sierra Leone. He is also committed to telling his stories, refusing to let global health issues slip from public view.

With an introduction by Michele Barry, Director of Stanford’s Center for Innovation in Global Health, Dr. Farmer will speak with Stanford Medicine’s Paul Costello, discussing his career and his most recent book: Fevers, Feuds, and Diamonds.
