On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, join PhD students, recent graduates, and faculty from across Stanford’s campus who do research focused on the African continent for a dinner panel followed by a social mixer.

Sponsored by the King Center on Global Development, the panel will discuss creating relationships with governments, NGOs, and private enterprises, as well as cover principles on sustainable development and ethical research  while optimizing high academic and community impact.

Please join us for the panel discussion and dinner, then stay afterwards for a more casual social. This event is a great opportunity for graduate students to reflect on their research in logistically difficult African contexts and seek advice from others in similar circumstances.
