During the session, Dr. Melvin Bonilla-Félix, MD, Professor and Chair, Department of Pediatrics, University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine will describe regional needs and resources to treat children with kidney diseases around the world. He will discuss programs available to support the global development of pediatric nephrology, successful strategies used, and potential collaboration between centers in high-income countries with centers in low-middle income countries.
