About the Speaker:
Leith Greenslade is a passionate advocate for the empowerment of women and children. In addition to her work at JustActions, she leads the Every Breath Counts Coalition, a global alliance of more than 100 organizations fighting the leading infectious cause of death on the world – pneumonia, is a proud Board member of TEAMFund, and an adviser to Rice360 Institute for Global Health Technologies and the “la Caixa” Foundation. Leith was named Advance Global Australian of the Year in 2021, became a Salzburg Global Fellow in 2022, and was awarded the Rice360 Innovation and Leadership in Global Health Award in 2024.
Prior to founding JustActions, Leith served as a Vice Chair with the MDG Health Alliance, and co-founded an investment circle that supports female social entrepreneurs working globally. She served on the US Board of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and in several positions with the Australian Government, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health, the Leader of the Federal Opposition, and the Shadow Minister for Social Security and the Status of Women. Leith holds a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Masters in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a First Class Honors Degree from the University of Queensland, Australia.
