Global Health Conversations Over Dinner An informal opportunity to meet the second cohort of the Stanford African Scholars in Global Health (SASH). SASH is a new initiative to promote health equity, capacity building, and bidirectional learning between African medical institutions and Stanford. We hope you can join us! Temesgen Abicho (Ethiopia): Addressing emerging antimicrobial resistance at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Tertiary Academic Hospital Emergency Medicine Department via a concerted antimicrobial stewardship quality improvement program Joycelyn Dame (Ghana): Implementing an antimicrobial stewardship program at the pediatric medical and surgical wards at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (the University of Ghana Medical School’s affiliate hospital), with monthly educational teaching sessions and a weekly all-day handshake stewardship strategy.
