Muhammad Ali Pate is the Global Director of Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice of the World Bank and the Director of Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents, based in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Pate, a U.S. and Nigerian national, was until recently the Chief Executive Officer of Big Win Philanthropy, an independent foundation that invests in children and young people in developing countries to improve their lives and to maximize demographic dividends for long term economic growth.

Dr. Pate is also a former Minister of State of Health in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Paul Costello, Stanford School of Medicine Senior Communications Strategist and a member of Stanford Global Health’s core leadership team, will interview Dr. Pate about his life and work.
