In collaboration with Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health will be hosting a Global Health Conversation with Steve Davis. Globally, the middle class is expanding, with technology, globalization, and modern trends empowering people to create and sustain change more than ever before in history. In conversation with Stanford Medicine’s Paul Costello, Davis will discuss the trends shaping society today and how we can manipulate them to improve global health through activism, as well as his timely book, Undercurrents: Channeling Outrage to Spark Practical Activism. We will also hear from Dr. Anurag Mairal and Dr. Michele Barry, who will provide insights and context from their class MED 232: Global Health: Scaling Health Technology Innovations in Low Resource Settings.
