2-3 research assistants are sought to support the following project funded by a CIGH Seed Grant:

A randomized controlled trial to investigate an intervention to reduce home-based spread of Covid19 for low-income families in the Bay Area.

This is a trial evaluating a real-world community-based intervention to reduce spread of SARS CoV 2 in low-income homes in the Bay Area. Time commitment would be around 1-2 hours per week but may be less or more on some weeks; this depends on enrollment.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

Candidates should have intermediate to advanced fluency in Spanish and interests in global health, health equity, epidemiology. The main components of the job would be follow-up calls with local families to help implement the intervention and remind them to conduct serial rapid testing over the course of a week. This will be done on Zoom or over the phone. There will be potential for co-authorship on publications.

Timeline

The timeline is roughly November 2022-Summer 2023 depending on trial enrollment.
