The Global Health Medical Student Research Fellowship, a joint effort by The Center for Innovation in Global Health and the Stanford MedScholars Program, provides an opportunity for Stanford medical students with a genuine interest in global health to gain foundational experience in global health research. Up to two medical students annually receive funding and support to dedicate one year to global health research.
Fellows spend one academic quarter learning research fundamentals on campus and up to three quarters at a global field site implementing their project.
