Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health (CIGH) Faculty Fellows Drs. Matthew Strehlow and Peter Acker from Stanford Emergency Medicine International (SEMI) along with Grayson Burdon from Stanford Medicine Global Strategy recently hosted representatives from their long-term emergency medicine partners EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute) in India. Michele Barry, Director of the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health, also welcomed the visiting researchers.

EMRI serves 1 billion in India, transporting over 110,000 people daily to and from care, and has collaborated closely with our faculty for several decades to improve EMS, research, and specific health challenges.
