New Ways of Working

Overview

The Fifth Annual Stanford Global Health Research Convening is a one-day conference bringing together students, faculty and researchers who are working in global health.

The convening aims to foster discussion among researchers across a variety of disciplines whose work impacts global health. We look for convening participants to share their ideas and experience, and to explore new potential collaborations and opportunities for student engagement. Prior convenings have attracted broad participation from engineers, economists, earth scientists ecologists, mathematical modelers, and physician scientists.

The first four convening’s have focused on the Stanford community, but as our global health research community has matured, in 2019 we are reaching out to global health researchers across the San Francisco Bay area to participate in the one day convening and to broaden our discussions and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
